About Warren Lammert

Hedge Fund Manager and Epilepsy Foundation Board Member

Warren B. Lammert is a Boston, Massachusetts based investment professional. He is the CEO and co-chief investment officer of Granite Point Capital. Granite Point Capital invests in public and private opportunities on behalf of clients. Warren Lammert founded Granite Point Capital in 2004 after a 17-year career working at investment firms in New York City and Denver, Colorado. He started in the business working as a research assistant at AG Edwards in St. Louis in 2000.

Mr. Lammert’s interests include European, American, and Chinese economic and capital market history, business cycle theory and behavioral economics and finance. He earned a Master of Science degree in economic history with distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science and he completed his undergraduate studies in economics at Yale University. Warren B. Lammert is a CFA® charterholder. Concurrent to his pursuits in investment management, he has spent two decades working in the epilepsy community. He is the Co-Founder of Epilepsy.com, the leading website for people living with epilepsy. He also founded the Epilepsy Therapy Project in 2002 and served as its chairman until its merger with the Epilepsy Foundation in 2013. From 2013 to 2015,

Warren Lammert served as Chairman of the Epilepsy Foundation and continued to serve on the Epilepsy Foundation Board of Directors until 2019. He has been a Director of Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures at NYU since 2010. He has been a recipient of the National Epilepsy Foundation and of the Epilepsy New England Lifetime Achievement Rewards and has been honored for his contribution to FACES at NYU. Warren B. Lammert also serves as Chairman of Tevard Biosciences, a start-up gene therapy company working to cure genetic epilepsies and other rare disorders, and he is a board member of Receptor Life Sciences.
